Overview
Terms
What this service offers, what it does not, and what it will not host.
Version 2026-09-29. This is the one in force, and the version you agreed to when you made your account is recorded against it.
Who you are agreeing with
GoDrop is run by Ddosify Inc., 1401 Pennsylvania Ave. Unit 105, Wilmington, Delaware 19806, United States. "We" and "us" below mean that company. Writing to contact@godrop.sh reaches it.
What it is
A place to put a file and get a URL back. It needs no account, most of it is free, and it is offered as it stands. There is one paid plan, and Paying for it says what happens when money is involved.
What it is not
- Not a backup. A file uploaded without an account is deleted three days later; with a free account, 30 days later; and on Pro, not deleted on a schedule at all. Keep your own copy of anything you would miss.
- Not private. A URL is unguessable, not secret. Anyone who has it can read the file, and links get forwarded.
- Not guaranteed. There is no uptime promise, no support commitment and no compensation for a file that is lost, served late or not served at all.
Your files stay yours
Uploading something here does not give us any claim to it. What it does give us is permission to run the service you asked for: a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy, transmit and serve that file, for as long as we hold it and for no other purpose. We need it because storing a file and answering a URL with it are both copying, and without your permission neither would be lawful.
That licence ends when the file does, whether you delete it, its URL expires or its retention runs out. We do not use what you upload to train anything, we do not show it to anybody who does not have its URL, and we do not read it.
You are telling us you have the right to upload each file and to let us serve it.
What you may not upload
Anything unlawful where you are or where this service runs. In particular:
- Child sexual abuse material. Removed and reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children as soon as we know of it.
- Malware, phishing pages, or anything built to deceive or harm whoever opens it.
- Material you have no right to distribute.
- Someone else's personal information, published without their say.
Files that break these rules are removed without notice, and the account behind them may be closed. Where the law requires a report, one is made.
Pages
On Pro, an HTML file can be published as a page at an address of its own
under godrop.page, where it runs in a browser rather than
downloading. Everything in What you may
not upload applies to pages, and one thing more plainly than anywhere
else: a page that imitates a sign-in form, a bank, a payment page or
another service, or asks its visitors for passwords or payment details, is
taken down as soon as we know of it and the account behind it is closed.
- While you pay. A page is served for as long as the subscription runs, and is not deleted on a schedule.
- When you stop. Your pages go offline on the day the paid period ends. They are kept for 30 days and then deleted; paying again within those 30 days puts them back at the same addresses. This is about pages only: what happens to your files is under Paying for it, and does not change.
- Not private. A page's address is unguessable, not secret, the same as a file's. Anyone who has it can open the page.
Fair use
There are rate limits, a size limit and a retention period, and they are described on the front page and in llms.txt. Working around them, or using this service as storage for an application rather than as a way to hand somebody a file, is a reason for it to stop working for you.
Reporting something
If a file hosted here should not be, tell us and we will look at it. Reporting a file says what to send, what happens next, and how to answer if something of yours was removed and should not have been. Copyright complaints and their counter-notices go through the same page.
We remove what we find to be unlawful or against these terms, and we close accounts that keep doing it. An account that draws repeated substantiated copyright complaints is closed under the policy set out on that page.
Paying for it
One plan, five US dollars a month, which raises what one account may store and stops its uploads being deleted on a schedule. It renews every month until you stop it, and Stripe takes the payment and holds the card details. We never see a card number.
The price is set in US dollars. Stripe may show and charge it in your own currency instead, at the rate on the day, in which case the amount on your statement moves a little from month to month while the five dollars does not. The checkout page shows you both before you agree to anything.
- Stopping. Cancel whenever you like, from the billing page in your dashboard. It runs to the end of the month you have paid for and does not renew.
- Refunds. A month that has begun is not refunded in part. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK and you change your mind within 14 days of first subscribing, write to us and we will refund that month in full.
- Your files afterwards. Nothing is deleted when you stop paying, and files uploaded while you were are not put back on a schedule. Pages are the one exception, and Pages says what happens to them. Uploads are refused until you are back inside the free allowance. We reserve the right to remove what is above that allowance after telling you, 30 days ahead, which is a thing we would rather not do and would only do to somebody using this to store a large amount for the price of one month.
- Changes to the price. Told to you at least 30 days before they reach you, and you can cancel instead.
Ending it
You can stop using this at any time, and deleting your account through the dashboard removes your files, their records and your API keys.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is being used unlawfully, or that is costing this service more than it can carry. Where we can tell you first we will, and where the law or the nature of the problem stops us we will not.
Liability
This service is provided as it stands and without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not promise it will be available, that a file will still be there, or that a URL will keep answering.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or business interruption. For everything else, our total liability to you is capped at the greater of one hundred US dollars or what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. That is a real number rather than a formality: it is what a five dollar service can carry, and pricing it any other way would mean charging more.
Some places do not allow parts of this to be excluded. Where that is so, those parts do not apply to you and the rest still does.
You cover us
If somebody brings a claim against us because of a file you uploaded, or because of the way you used this service, you cover what it costs us to deal with it, including reasonable legal fees. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and will not settle it without asking you.
Which law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and the courts there are where a dispute is heard.
If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and it does not stop you bringing a claim in your own local courts where that law says you may.
Changes
These terms can change, and each version carries the date it was written, at the top of this page. The one shown is the one in force. A material change is announced on the front page and, if you have an account, asked for again rather than made quietly.
